In our search for a sustainable society it is time to introduce a modern way of sailing cargo:

" Fair Sail "

 

The Whirled

With the 50 foot schooner “Whirled”, a 10 Ton sailing cargo carrier, we can offer the service of sustainable transport. The service is a non-profit making venture to promote sustainability and serves as base for testing renewable energies.

 

The service

The main service is called Fair Sail; a sustainable solution to seaborne transport, all in line with the development of Fair Trade*, and other sustainable ways of living. This means that we provide the client a valuable contribution to “Corporate Social Responsibility” (CSR**).

To achieve continuity in transport demand, we contacted the Dutch association AZH, Atlantis Zeilende Handelsvaart, in Den Helder, Holland. This organization will be one of our intermediate with the clients on shore.
